Hello and thank you for visiting my website!

My name is Marjorie Baker, and I am a self-taught watercolor artist in Dallas, Texas. During the shut-down phase of the pandemic, I got bored and became curious about watercolor, having never tried painting before. I was instantly hooked! I watched a lot of YouTube videos and spent thousands of hours learning and practicing. Since then, I have painted over 150 pet portrait commissions, as well as many other subjects, and I have paintings on display at Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas, Texas.

One of the great joys of what I do is seeing the excitement from the customers and recipients of my work!
